Damn, what an intense episode! That was some amazing strategic play there by Team Shinpei, but Haine scanning and removing the oxygen within the gymnasium was also a big brain move. Can hardly wait for the next episode!

So many big brain moves. Shinpei wearing a handmade bulletproof and Ushio swapped with her pendant are one of my favorites. Glad Shinpei survived this loop.

The animation in this episode is so smooth 60+ fps the fire, the running, the action, the air stopping, the bullet shot and the killing the shadows haine and that big shadow was amazing this episode is their win

I really hope the anime series gain a lot of profit. The animation quality must cost a lot!

Shinpei dropping off the gym's mezzanine to help Ushio looked smooth as heck too. I bet it was rotoscoped because those definitely looked like actual, real life movements.

The animation and the action was riveting it was a great episode overall

The animation really upped in this episode, and the ep had the feeling of the Thing kinda vibes when they burned those shadows crawling on walls

It was a very quick chapter in the manga and Haine's story is essentially over.

Looks like that shadow shiori is now dead because shinpei didn't die this time so the mark should be gone

The mark won't go away and is considered part of his existence now. While Shiori was like a puppet of Haine's real body. Shiori was destroyed but Haine still exists. Remember the whole part where Haine is stuck in the catacombs underground but projecting a puppet above because she is unable to move. However we know most of Haine's story now asides how she got her first body but we are trying to figure out who Shide is now and Shide seems to have more authority over the events then Haine does if you notice. Haine still will be around to provoke taunt and mess with Shinpei

No Shiori's body is gone but not Haine. However the big picture as you see of the big bad is pretty much the focus for the most part now. Still Haine interferes but Shide's now the important mystery after seeing his hand. Though they've been giving him away quite a bit with the way he makes video game references. Still not much of one as there's like one only point in the story he truly gave his identity away.

~ The fights written in this anime have been exceptional. Kudos to the mangaka, he's come up with every possible idea one could to counter shadows and picked up on it episode by episode.

Another loop for Shinpei and looks like his friends are together for another battle.

They went hard with the fight scene animations and all the fun twists that played out throughout the fight. The first time Ushio and Shinpei can fight them back with brain. Might have been the best episode so far.

For real! Episode really floored me with the animation and way the battle played out.

This anime is underratedly the best, there's a lot of plotwist in a sudden that it just blows my mind. And what makes a better Mio? Two Mio.

Not rated enough then, this is def one of the best anime this season hands down!

Tokiko with those big shadows were amazing and it didn't listen to haine because ushio programmed them this is so cool tokiko is so useful here

They really outdid themselves. Especially Mio and Hizuru's sequences, gotta be one of my top faves

OLM is pretty underrated when it comes to animation , they are really good at it!

So many twists and turns and the animation was on par too i loved this episode

They have been using brain to fight with them so far but Haine was 2 steps ahead but not this time plus Shinpei gets another member add to his harem, drove Haine away for now and no one dead in his team. It's a win-win situation.
